Slacking... I know

Nothing has been new or exciting lately - but today I did go to Walgreens. I believe I made out rather well.

Order One :

1 x Butterfinger Nestle eggs - in add 2/$5

2 x Starbucks Frappucino 9.5 oz. - $1.89 each

Total before coupons + tax : 14.05

Total after coupons, walgreens and printables : $5.68.

Used 2 register rewards.

Total Out of pocket = $1.76

Order Two:

3 x Conttonelle toilet paper 12 double rolls - Regularly $6.99, on sale for $5.99

1 x Scotch Bubble mailer (muffin needs for online sale) .99 Cents

Total before coupons + tax : $20.24

Sadly no coupons :( *I would have if I knew I was buying toilet paper - but I needed an order over $10.00 to use my $10.00 register reward that was going to expire tomorrow*

Used 3 register rewards, 1x $10.00 and 2x $2.00

Total out of pocket = $6.24

Recieved $5.00 Register Reward for next order (saving for next week)

.... So... after adding that in, I spent $1.24 in the long run :)

I was not super impressed with the register reward deals this week, but I needed to use my rewards before they expired, so I figured $5.00 is better than nothing.

Off work today :) YAY!

This past week I worked @ the Woodville Rd. ALDI. It had it's ups and downs, but over all I guess it wasn't bad enough to keep me from offering my time there next week!

Saturday Muffin and I went to dinner (charlie's first - where our server forgot about us, so we walked out, then to Red Robin (YUM)!) Then we went and saw the movie Valentine's Day - too cute :)

Feed your neighbor

Today Muffin and I tried a new food bank. It was WONDERFUL! The church folk were so friendly, and to make it even better - we got to wait INSIDE (opposed to waiting out in the cold like the other food bank we go to)! Here is a picture of what we got - not including what we dropped off at Momma Bear's.

YAY!!! my team won the SUPER BOWL!

Tom, Zack, and Sarge came over and watched the VICTORY!

Then took Dad's truck back, visited with Sara, Chris and the parents.

Then Tom, Muffin and i played pass the popcorn - a movie trivia game, MUFFIN WON!

Sleepy time now, doc appt with mom in the morning tomorrow, then working 2-8:30 @ ALDI on Woodville.

Went this morning and got the Jeep back from getting the gas line fixed. Back to driving my new Ford Ranger :)

Hmmm, nothing new or exciting today. Took Muffin's dad back to airport so he can get home to Oklahoma. Then rushed home to take a nap to silence my headache. Not sure what's on the agenda today. I am hoping to hear about the Jeep's gas leak, and get that taken to mom's, and all that jazz.

so, yep BORING day - i will blog later if anything exciting happens!

ten dollar donation = ten meat items!

There is a church down the street that we go to monthly for their food basket hand out. I believe this would be the 4th month we have gone. The first time we got everything from fresh produce to a 18lb turkey breast. Each time we seem to get less and less because the turn out is growing, but we are so happy with whatever we receive.

This month we got 2- 10lb bags of potatoes, can of carrots, can of green beans, can of spaghetti sauce, can of tomatoes, container of stable shelf milk, can of apple sauce, bag of apples, a squash, a yellow pepper, 2 lemons, can of beef stew, 1 package of cranberry orange cake (loaf bread like.)

The church now has that the day after the food bank, you bring a 10$ donation to the church and they give you 10 meat items.

This month we got:

8 pork chops with bone in (one item, family sized) * we split and froze in 2s.

1 lb of bacon

family size of chicken wings

7 brats

lean ground beef- believe it was 2 lbs

2 boneless pork chops

boneless pork loin

a package of chicken brats w/ green peppers inside( gave the neighbor)

1 package of ribs

and

a package of chuck steak

*Looks like we made out like bandits!*

Last month we got brats, 2 london broils, mini cheeseburgers, 2 tubs of lunch meat, and a bunch of steak.

I can't wait to see what the feed your neighbor program has for us next week!

Workin at ALDI today 12-5.

Muffin has his man date here around 6pm. He and 5 other guys play a game in the

dinning room.

I plan on making chicken alfredo . :)

I worked today from 1-6pm. It was a rather interesting day... we were pretty busy, but I didn't get stuck ringing all day. I did quite a bit of stocking, and boxing (clearing the empty boxes through the store).

Muffin and I had steak, mashed potatoes, and corn for dinner :) yummmmm

Right now, Muffin's playing Left for Dead 2 on the XBOX 360, and I am boredddddd.....
